Trip to Barcelona

Not every time we are able to take whole week of at our work, even if we need to take a break and relax. But fortunately, we can always take longer weekend and travel to some place nice by an airplane – it is much more fast. But where is very nice to go during the spring? If you like to visit some city with a lot of monuments but in more tropical area, you need to go to Barcelona. In spring the weather is perfect for sightseeing – it is much warmer then in Poland, but not as hot as during the summer in Spain.

If you are thinking about trip like that, first you need to find some great deal on flight tickets. There are dozens of different webpages of various carriers, but the best will be to chose one website with all the airline companies gathered together. Just use your browser and type down right phrase, like “cheapest flights to Barcelona” for example. Then, you need to select one of the pages from the top. Where you go there, choose your date, number of passenger and see what they are offering you. If you find something interesting, you can book your tickets on this site, you don’t need to visit carrier’s domain.

Another thing you need to think about is accommodation. And again, you can use the internet to find the best deal. Type down correct sentence, like “accommodation in Barcelona” and you will get dozens of results. Choose the websites with various hotels and hostels. Select your date, location, number of people and other additional information you like, like distance from the old town for example. You will get the results from cheapest to the most costly. Choose your type and make a reservation – fast and simple.

In Barcelona, you will find plenty of splendorous monuments. On the seacoast, you could admire very tall statue of Christopher Columbus, one of the most famous traveler of the world. It is situated on the Rambla street- one of the most fashionable avenues in Spain. You need to walk trough it definitely, you will see there plenty of different markets, and first pieces of the splendorous Antonio Gaudi’s architecture. And there is a lot of it in Barcelona – cause he is the one who made this city very special. The most famous monument designed by him is Sagrada Familia – church which is mash of Gothic and Catalan  art. And if you like to visit more typical but also splendorous temple, go to the St. Eulalia’s Cathedral – magnificent example of Spanish Gothic architecture.

Barcelona is very magical place, especially in spring. Lovely weather friendly people and magnificent monuments. If you have never been here before, you need to do that, immediately.
